Today officially marks the release of Nintendo’s latest smash hit: Super Mario Galaxy. No more waiting, no more wondering and no more worrying that it’ll suffer the EU treatment and get pushed back even further!

It’s time to dust off you Wii-remotes and Nunchucks, replace your batteries, and treat yourself to what could possibly be the “perfect Wii game”.

I’ve booked the day off work and got up extra early to get my copy, and I’ve freed up the whole day to get some serious Mario-playing done, so you can expect my review sometime soon. This is if I manage to prise myself away from my Wii for long enough to write it!

Super Mario Galaxy is available from today for the RRP of £39.99 from all good video game stockist. Or you could call into your nearest Toys R Us store to pick up a copy for the bargain price of £26.87 until 19th November, which is quite possibly the cheapest price around!
