Some News about the WiiWare channel has been revealed from IGN’s Wii-k in Review podcast. According to IGN’s sources:

• Most of the games have a budget of $100,000 or lower
• Developers are allowed to pitch ideas to Nintendo or just do it in the tranditional manner
• Size Limit for games is 40MB
• The smaller the file size, the quicker Nintendo will pay the developer
• 10 games in developement that Matt Cassamasima knows of
• Price of games are set by the developer
• Nintendo is only allowing developers to put out 1 game per month

So far, the WiiWare channel is set to see Final Fanasity Crystal Chronicles and a redone version of Dr. Mario. We’ll keep you posted on details about the new channel, which should be arriving early next year.
