Sega has announced that NiGHTS!: Journey of Dreams will be the first game to utilize of the Nintendo Wii’s Weather Channel for dictating in-game climates.

The mode in Journey of Dreams which will use this fuctionality is called A-Life, which is a self-developed sandbox enviornment that homes unlockable items founded in Nightopia. The Weather Channel will create realistic weather conditions for the level, so expect rain when rain is pouring outside (or depending on your region).
