Publisher 505 Games has announced that it’ll bring Kira Kira Pop Princess (what an alliteration!) to European shores for the Nintendo DS in February 2008.

Players will be put in the dancing shoes of Gaby as she ventures through Rainbow City to become as popular as Anna, the Rainbow City Dance Queen. The entire area is divided into different districts, each with their own styles and musical influences. Gaby will have to compete against rival challengers, unlock new costumes (tops, shoes, accessories, hairstyles, etc) and continue forth through newer districts.

Kira Kira Pop Princess‘ gameplay is very simplistic and intuitive. Holding the Nintendo DS in a vertical fashion, players will need to touch three colored buttons coinciding with the beat of the music. There are four moves to master (Single step up, down, left and right) and performing them successfully can enable Gaby to pull off massive combos against her opponents on the dance floor.
