During their fiscal Q2 earnings call, Activision mentioned that Guitar Hero 3 performed so phenominally well in sales, that there could possibly be shortages to follow in the near future.

CEO Robert Kotick said there is a possibility GHIII supply would not meet demand on “certain platforms.”

The game could be missing out on any console this holiday season, so be sure to purchase Guitar Hero 3 (Wii) soon or else you’ll be stuck with cardboard boxes and rubber bands that won’t suffice.
