Fight the good fight with your trusty attack helicopter.
When I first saw the gameplay, I was blown away by how awesome it was. The view is a third person behind the aircraft, an assault chopper, not unlike that of Lylat Wars. Unlike it however, is that it uses sprites instead of polygons, so moving forward does not progress as smoothly. However, moving in the lateral directions is fine, and makes up for it. At the end of a stage it will switch over to a top down view, wich is alright, however it is not nearly as nice as the first view.
Drums seem to be popular with the designers, each piece has a strong beat, and I’m impressed that they were able to work it in so nicely with each type of music. The effects are alright, most of the explosions sound like static.
The game play is fast and difficult. Even on easy, the first stage can knock off five lives if you are not carefull, let each progressive stage. Despite it’s difficulty, it is a very short game, and there is not much of an ending either.
While the game is very playable, its difficulty and lack of longevity takes away from the game greatly.
