Rising Star Games has proudly announced that they’ll publish Suda 51’s No More Heroes for Europe which is slated for a February 2008 release on the Nintendo Wii.
“Rising Star Games is very excited to be bringing this latest project from Suda 51 to the European market,” commented Martin Defries, Managing Director, Rising Star Games. “He is without doubt a legendary creative powerhouse within the gaming industry. No More Heroes is shaping up to be a widely anticipated Q1 title for both the trade and consumers alike. It’s a massively engaging and immersive gaming experience for the Wii. This is exactly the right product to broaden the format’s appeal to a wider, more serious gaming audience.”
No More Heroes puts players in the shoes of Travis Touchdown, an anime-obsessed fan living in Santa Destroy, California who recently meets up with Sylvia Christel and is met with one goal in mind: He must kill 10 of the best hit men who so happened to rank above him while under covering their stories. Players will control Travis’ beam katana with the Wii remote and perform insane wrestling moves. No More Heroes‘ avant-garde visuals, black humor and brutal violence can suite even the most hardcore of gamers.
Expect to become the best of the killing league in February 2008.
