Take control of Jazeta’s son, and once again go out into Neutopia.
Looks a bit more updated than the first. More detail in the sprites, and a few redesigns altogether. The character can even face in 8 directions instead of just 4, which also means the sword can swing in 8 directions as well. Enemies are larger, and therefore easier, of course, they take a few more hits to kill.
Sound is terrible. I’m not stessing this enough. It was completely awful. The background music, with a number of beeps, and drums that sound like static noise, it is horrid. Not to mention echoing beeps whenever you press the button to further dialogue, or the beeps you hear when you get hit, or even that random beep that comes up every so often just as you’re playing.
It plays like the first, in fact, many items make a return, such as the bomb, ring, potion, wings and fire rod. While the eight directional attacking with the sword is a nice addition, the game is still pretty much the same.
The game is quite like the first one, except a graphic upgrade, an audio downgrade, and a new plot. If the sound didn’t make the game unbearable, it wouldn’t be so bad. But it is, so waste 600 points on something else.
