The Bacterion empire must be stopped.

The first thing you will see upon starting the game is its beautiful graphics, with a four layer scrolling parallax star field, as well as the other backgrounds. Sprites however are a problem, the look look wonderfull, as I’ve seen what four options firing lasers can look like. However, often times the sheer amount of enemies will cause the game to slow down.

Music is good, although I prefer the original’s tune, the SNES allows this to have a higher quality. While the music is different, Graduis III has retained some of the original sound effects, including the all too familiar ship explosion.

It handles pretty well, and if you call it to slow, I suggest getting a few speed-ups. Not only that, different power-up bars can be selected, or even edited at the start of the game; don’t like the original, then feel free to choose something else to suit your style. Challenge is just as hard, like most shooters, one shot will down you, however there are shields and options to protect you, but even then, a good shot may hit you anyway.

Give it a whirl, it is difficult, it is still pretty fun. If it gets too difficult, you could always use the code for a little extension of gameplay.
(P.S. They changed the code slightly, so don’t use the original)
