Sega of Europe Ltd. and Sega of America Inc. announced Sega Superstars Tennis for the Nintendo Wii and DS and other major consoles.

Sega Superstars Tennis features over 15 characters from their video game universe such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Amigo from Samba De Amigo and Ulala of Space Channel 5. Each have their personal attributes and skills which should muse up interesting matches.

Players will compete through exhibitions and tournaments with the character(s) of their choice and play through a variety of courts from Sonic’s Green Hill Zone to Amigo’s Carnival Park court. Sega also mentioned about extra content and platform exclusivity, but that information has been scarce, even considering the Wii and DS.

Sega Superstars Tennis will volley into retails stores in early 2008 on nearly all major consoles.
