Naruto: Path of the Ninja isn’t the dime in the dozen as developer TOSE as strayed away from the traditional fighting formula to create a brand new role-playing game for the Nintendo DS.

Players will choose between six available characters: Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Neji, Rock Lee and Shikamaru as they square off against enemies straight from the television show. The combat system calls for the player’s best judgment as they pick the team, fighting stances and jutsu. Button inputs and the touchscreen must be utilized in order to perfectly master over 90 different jutsu.

Expect to put on your Japanese emblem as Naruto: Path of the Ninja releases on October 23rd.
