Review

This game is pretty much the same as Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine.

It is almost identical to Mean Bean Machine. However, it does have a pleasant Kirby theme.

We are given a Kirby style soundtrack, which is lighter and more upbeat than Mean Bean Machine. As well as small bits of voice acting.

It is a puzzle game in which you connect four of the same colored puyos to clear them off the screen. The puyos drop in sets of two, being any which color. In a match against the computer or a human opponent, clearing puyos will drop clear puyos on your opponent, with the stipulation they must clear adjacent puyos to make them dissapear.

We have unfortunately already seen this game on the Virtual Console, a reminant of the licensing days, and the older console wars between Sega and Nintendo. If you downloaded Mean Bean Machine, then steer clear. If you have not, it is best to flip a coin and choose one.
