Publisher Majesco Entertainment and developer Shin’en are bringing the sequel to Nanostray to the Nintendo DS. This brand new vertical scrolling shoot-em up will feature more weapons, challenges and some of the most hectic boss fights featured on a portable shooter.

Nanostray 2 new campaign features insane firefights with 16 enormous bosses, near-impossible obstacles and 100 unique enemies that’ll try to obliterate the player’s ship out of the sky. This sequel builds up on much more content than the original held such as more weapons (which includes upgrades and customizations), the return of Challenge mode (with more challenges that’ll unlock some in-game goodies), two-player dual and cooperation and Simulation which is basically a mode for arcade high score hunting.

More upgrades in Nanostray 2 include three control configurations (Classic, left or right hand) the ability to upload high scores on the internet from N2 Championships and alternating vertical/horizontal camera views to alternate the gameplay experience.
