The release date and boxart for the long anticipated Contra IV has finally been shown.

Contra IV is a sequel to the Contra series, a side scrolling arcade shooter released in the 80s. Though Konami tried to bring the series to 3d in past sequels, there are some games that just need to be in 2d and what better way to release a 2d sequel than on the massively popular DS. The game will be released November 13th, 2007.
