Nintendo wants everyone to make the smart move as it moves an enormous promotional campaign throughout the UK for Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree to search for Britian’s most intelligent family. Television/online ads, and POS initiatives in retailers, everything is being done to make this known to the entire public, and it’s probably one of the largest and innovating promotional campaign to hit the UK.
Given the ground-breaking success we’ve seen with Big Brain Academy on Wii so far, we didn’t want to rest on our laurels and began to look at re-promoting it at Christmas,” said Wii product manager Robert Lowe.
“We came up with the idea for Britain’s Brainiest family – with the prize being university fees paid for the winning family’s kids.”
Nintendo will be hosting Big Brain Academy competitions in the ten most busiest shopping centers in Britain, which should attract families eager to put their thinking caps on. Lowe also mentioned that he hopes more than 30,000 people get the opportunity to play Big Brain Academy on the Nintendo Wii and DS.
