Riverfold Software has released Wii Transfer 2.5 which enables features such as watching movies, listening to music and viewing photos through the Internet Channel on the Wii menu. Users will browse (Firefox and Safari compatible) through Itunes playlists and IPhotos albums right from your television and stream any form of media as long as it’s been converted to the correct format. Other than entertainment media, Wii Transfer 2.5 will manage saved game backups to an SD card.

This new program is open to the public, though it is only compatible with MacOS X 10.4. The updated Wii Transfer costs $19 and once purchased, the serial code will be emailed to you to unlock the program. For more information, visit this link.
