Publisher Hudson Entertainment has announced a pair of Bomberman games which will be released on the Nintendo Wii and DS. We can expect both games to arrive (as far as we’ve been notified) on North American shores on January 2008.

North American Wii owners will finally receive a localization copy of Bomberman Land as it has already debuted in Japan back in March 2007. The game stands as a mini-game compilation littered with theme park-esque games since Bomberman himself is trapped in one! Completing more games and unlocking items will grant the player access to more locations during the progression of the single player campaign. But don’t fret yet because Bomberman Land has four-player multiplayer in which friends can jump in and play through unlocked mini-games or the classic Battle Mode.

Hudson Entertainment has also planned to spawn a sequel to Bomberman Land Touch! for the DS which contains over 40 zany mini-games such as soccer strike and river rafting. The classic Battle Mode is also included, in which eight players can bomb each other to smithereens through local or Wi-Fi play.

Expect both games to explode in stores in January 2008.
