Namco Bandai Games America Inc. is jumping the bandwagon of Nintendo-related products by announcing Active Life: Athletic World (working title) for the Nintendo Wii. The catch is that the 10 unique activities will feature usage of the Wiimote and a custom mat controller.
Athletic World utilizes the motion-sensing Wiimote and eight-sensor mat for basic exercises and activities such as obstacle courses and river rafting which creates and realistic and engaging experience for the player. The game will also keep track of personal scores and progress updates for those currently playing from friends to family. A multiplayer component is included, as all challenges and mini-games can be played from a single mat.

Expect to have some quality in-home activities with Active Life: Athletic World in 2008.
