EA Next has announced at today’s conference that is plans to bring back the classic god game Populous to the Nintendo DS.

Populous was originally developed for Amiga, Atari and the PC and it allowed players to control a deity to control people to conquer enemy forces of an opposing god. Not much new updates have been announced except a four-player multiplayer component will be in the DS update.
