Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Comes to Wii

LucasArts has revealed that Star Wars: The Force Unleashed will be available on the Nintendo Wii next spring along with the other major platforms.

The Force Unleashed takes place between Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars IV: A New Hope revealing a back story on Darth Vadar and the Empire. You are in the position of his Secret Apprentice, and you’ll assist the evil lord in ridding away of Jedi and you may come across a life-changing decision during the progress of the story.

“The Wii is a great platform for The Force Unleashed, because the console’s motion-oriented controllers really bring the game to life,” said Jim Ward, President of LucasArts. “We’ve worked hard to make the Wii version of the game unique in order to truly let you unleash the Force.”

The Wii versions will utilize the Wiimote for the lightsaber while the nunchuck will have the ability to use Force powers. It’ll be developed by Krome Studios and will include and exclusive multiplayer component in which you can face off against a friend to see who is the true Jedi Master.
