Chibi-Robo: Park Patrol with Clean Information

Nintendo has released information on their press site which goes more in depth of their upcoming portable adaption of Chibi-Robo.

Problems have definitely stepped outside the average edifice as a pollution epidemic is destroying plant life (flowers specifically) in parks around the world. Our tiny little robo maid, Chibi-Robo, armed with a squirter and boom box, will restore the local park of all its glory by growing plants, building park equipment and fend off against the Smogling deviants.

Chibi-Robo: Park Patrol still carries some important aspects of the original Gamecube counterpart. Our little iron maid cannot live without watts, which players can build upon by earning Happy Points in the simple good deeds such as building park equipment and other good deeds. But the watts are much more universal as it can also be used as currency to fund park projects and buy some awesome gear for your little fellow. This can also tie in with when Chibi-Robo meets other toys which could aid him in park projects for a discount price. Some of these characters include:

Pop and Fizz: The penguin “spokesanimals” for PopFizz Soda.

Francois: A marionette on a mission to escape his strings.

Bull: A sports mascot who doesn’t want to hang up his cleats yet.

Molly Mapleleaf: A plastic toy who dreams of becoming a real tree.

Tampa: A Free Ranger in search of a career change.

Chassy: A classic car who wants to avoid the junkyard.

Chibi-Robo has a large disposal of tools which could help him on his park patrol. His squirt gun has two features, it is a resourceful gardening tool, but it is also used to fend off the vile Smoglings. The boom box can provide jamin’ tunes which helps flower seeds sprout. And if your feet grow tiresome and weary, Chibi-Robo has access to many vehicles such as canoes, bikes and a cart.

Expect a NA release of Chibi-Robo: Park Patrol on October 2nd.
