We haven’t seen much of One Piece: Unlimited Adventure ever since we saw gameplay footage at E3 2006. But now Namco Bandai plans to actually ship the game to North American shores in Q1 2008 so they can battle those evil pirate wrenches!

“We are thrilled to bring this one-of-a-kind television series into the hands of gamers on the Nintendo Wii,” said Makoto Iwai, executive VP and COO at Namco Bandai Games America. “One Piece: Unlimited Adventure is the perfect blend of action and charm that will engage new gamers and series fans alike.”

After being shipwrecked on a mysterious island, Monkey D. Luffy and his crew of quirky personnas set off on an adventure that challenge their strength and wits. The Wiimote’s motion-sensing capabilities will enable players to unleash powerful moves as seen from the television anime show.
