If you grow tired and dreadful of Tetris, Hudson Soft has something delicious for DS owners called Honeycombs.

Honeycombs is littered with modes and levels to keep the average gamer alive. During a techno soundtrack, players are required to tap honeycomb tabs onscreen in order to fit a certain pattern or design to eliminate lines. Certain game modes will provide players will challenges such as completing a puzzle with the fewest beats, while another gives you a Tetris-esque challenge, making the gameplay much more intense.

The game will have unlockable music, backgrounds and themes. Sadly though, Honeycombs has no multiplayer component, so the game is completely single player focused. When released, the game will have a respected price of $19.99.
