Kai Huang of RedOctane has just confirmed in a interview that Guitar Hero 3 for the Nintendo Wii will ship with online multiplayer compatibility.

“There will, in fact, be Online gameplay for the Wii when Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock launches in late October. However, there will not be Downloadable content available on the Wii at launch. That, we are still working with Nintendo on.”

Huang’s words were originally taken out of context, noting that online gameplay won’t be included. But Pro-G fixed the wording.
