This week Nintendo have decided to release a bumper selection of Mega Drive titles, including another outing for Sega’s little blue mascot.

Mega Drive (800 Points)

• Sonic the Hedgehog 3

  Sonic the Hedgehog 3 introduced new character Knuckles the Echidna and gave Sonic and Tails new abilities and power-ups in their battle against Dr. Eggman (AKA Dr Robotnik)

• Ghouls’n Ghosts

  Ghouls’n Ghosts is the sequel to the arcade hit Ghosts ‘n Goblins, continuing the adventures of Arthur the knight on a mission to retrieve a fair maiden’s soul from its demonic captors.

• Crack Down

  Crack Down is an arcade action game for up to two players, in which you must infiltrate enemy strongholds, plant bombs, and shoot your way to safety before the timers hit zero.

• ESWAT: City Under Siege

  ESWAT: City Under Siege is a conversion of the popular coin-op. As a member of the Elite Special Weapons And Tactics unit, you must clean up a futuristic, crime-ridden city.

• Shining in the Darkness

  Shining in the Darkness was one of the first fantasy role-playing games released for the SEGA Mega Drive and also the first in the popular ‘Shining’ series. Battle through 3D dungeons in your quest for the Arms of Light and destroy the evil Dark Sol.
