Sega has recently engrossed us with new information regarding Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity for the Nintendo Wii including single and multiplayer features.
Players will choose between 18 characters from the Sonic universe to tear up 16 different race tracks. A brand new features in this sequel is the ability to utilize gravity to alter courses and whatnot after accumulating Gravity Points. Another cool detail is that players can change vehicles during a race from a motorcycle to a hover craft to best suit their racing style. Likewise, players can also customize their vehicles with upgrades, which may uncover some track surprises in the latter of races.
In addition to single player, friends can duke it out in three multiplayer modes: Free Race, World Grand Prix and Survival Mode. And as a Wii exclusive, players can download their ghost data to race against the best of the best.
Expect to catch some air with Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity in February 2008.
