It is now official that Manhunt 2 will be coming to the U.S and will be released on October 31, 2007 with a “M”rating from the ESRB.

Sam Houser, founder and executive producer of Rockstar Games, commented, “Manhunt 2 is important to us, and we’re glad it can finally be appreciated as a gaming experience. We love the horror genre. Manhunt 2 is a powerful piece of interactive story telling that is a unique video game experience. We think horror fans will love it.”

The troubles and controversies started back when the game was supposed to be released in July, but the Adult-rating held it back since Nintendo and Sony agreed to not allow that kind of software on their systems. The company has appealed the ban in the UK, which is still under process.
