This weeks Virtual Console update sees three new games for the ever-growing list of downloadable classics available on the Wii Shopping Channel.

Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) (500 Points)

• Wrecking Crew

  The latest NES classic to hit Virtual Console features Mario in one of his most unique roles.In Wrecking Crew, Mario is tasked with demolishing buildings by destroying all the obstacles in each level littered with platforms, ladders and enemies.

  Or if you’d prefer to create rather than destroy, Wrecking Crew also includes a level design mode for making your own destruction constructions.

• Lunar Pool

  Lunar Pool, out now on Virtual Console, is a pool game with a difference. Instead of using a standard rectangular table, this NES game features 30 differently-shaped tables and adjustable friction.

  This futuristic spin on the classic sport also includes three game modes: single-player, versus a friend and versus the computer.

Turbografx (600 Points)

• Neutopia

  A kidnapped princess, a demonic villain, eight magical medallions and one heroic youngster… Welcome to Neutopia!

  This acclaimed Turbografx action-adventure, now on Virtual Console, is a classic tale of monster battling, dungeon exploration and puzzle solving across a huge world.

  As young hero Jazeta, recover the medallions, rescue the princess and return Neutopia to peace once more.
