Think you’ve got the skills be beat all of the opposition and stand tall as the victor in our first even online tournament?

The Tournament:

16 players will battle it out in a tournament style to see who is the best at this tournaments selected game: Mario Strikers Charged Football.

Each player will be randomly drawn and given a position on the tournament table. They will then play a tournament regulation game (rules below) against their allocated rival, with the victor advancing from the Play-offs to the Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and the Finals until the overall winner is found.

The Rules:

• All entrants must have a PAL copy of Mario Strikers Charged Football, and be registered for online play.
• Each entrant must exchange Friend-Codes with their tournament rival before the match via the Boards.
• Each match will consist of 3 rounds lasting 5 minutes each on a randomly selected stadium.
• To win a match, a player must win 2 out of 3 games.
• Players are responsible for organising their own games as designated on the tournament table, and are also responsible for submitting their own results.

The Prizes:

The winner of the 1st WiiDS.co.uk Mario Strikers Charged Football Tournament will receive a whopping 1,000 boards points, with the runner-up getting 500 boards points. All other entrants to the tournament will receive 100 boards points for just taking part!

If this tournament proves successful, future tournaments will benefit from bigger and better prizes!

How To Sign Up:

To take part in the tournament, all you have to do is be one of the first 16 to post your interest, together with your Mario Strikers Charged Football Friend Code in the official tournament thread over at the WiiDS.co.uk Boards. Then keep an eye out for when the tournament draw will take place and who you’ll be up against!
