Animal Paradise Comes to the DS

Girls and little kids are suckers for adorable animals, and Silverstar Holding’s Empire Interactive believes in that trend by announcing Animal Paradise for the Nintendo DS.

From the sounds of it, Animal Paradise plans to take the Nintendogs trend and grow upon it. The game takes place at the player’s uncle’s farm, where they must feed, play, clean and walk the farm animals. There is a sundry of ways to please your furry friends and gain their respect and happiness (or probably just happiness).

For the best of animal eye candy, the game features Hanadeka style of animal photography created by Yoneo Morita. Using fisheye lenses, photographs can capture the adorable essence of an animal by it’s nose. You can check out the example below.

“We expect this new game offering to tap the hugely popular pet genre on Nintendo DS and be a tremendous success,” said Ian Higgins, CEO Empire Interactive. “We’re fortunate to be the company that brings Animal Paradise to the European market and all PAL territories.”

Clive Kabatznik, CEO of Silverstar Holdings commented, “With the Nintendo DS dominating handheld sales and radically expanding the gaming market, this new offering will provide an important addition to our game offerings. It is the perfect fit for the Nintendo DS demographic.”
