Apparently it has been announced that a remake of Rebel Raiders: Operation Nighthawk has been announced for the Nintendo Wii and will be released on September 18th.

In the late future, the World Nations Union is formed when human beings conquered the entire solar system. But over time, this government grew to be inhuman and tyrannical. A few nations decided to form a small group of rebels to fight against their power, which starts the biggest war ever.

Rebel Raiders allows the player to control one of 15 different fighter planes through 16 explosive missions. The game is easy to learn, and everyone can play. The Wii should be able to make the experience easier.
