Power up the fleet gamers because Bethesda Softworks has just announced Star Trek: Conquest will be releasing for the Nintendo Wii and Playstation 2 during the holiday season.

Disregarding faced paced action (for this moment), Conquest sticks to strategic turn-based gameplay, in which the player must control of Federation, Klingon, Romulan, Dominion, Breen and Cardassian forces through the single player campaign. Its up to your decision on how you micromanage your fleet, build up resources and launch devastating attacks on your enemy.

Unlike many turn-based strategy titles, Conquest lets the player engage in battle with first hand account. In other words, when battle has initiated, you control of a ship from a tactical view, with full command of your ally ships. The combat utilizes the Wiimote and nunchuck to fly and shoot down your enemies.

Star Trek: Conquest will be released at a budget price of $29.99 (U.S currency) during the holiday season.
