The latest issue of Famitsu has revealed a remake of Super Dodge Ball will be heading towards the Nintendo DS. Arc Systems Works is the mastermind behind the project.
Super Dodge Ball was released back on the Nintendo and Famicom back in 1988, and the rules haven’t changed much after 19 years. The concept was simple: defeat the other team by throwing a dodge ball at them and that will ultimately destroy their moral and members. Other than updated visuals (which is a definite step up from the original), the game has new features such as the ability to kick and punch and a special gauge that enhances the team’s skills and abilities when filled. There is also an eight player Battle Royal deathmatch for all players to duke it out.
No release date has been confirmed, but we’ll update that as soon as we recieve the word.
