Lunar Pool is your average pool game created by Compile for the Nintendo. If you like discolored pool tables and an awkward control scheme, then this game is just for you!

The game limits the player to one simple objective: knock in all the colored balls into the hole with the white ball within the amount of lives given to you. There are no opponents, just your lonesome self playing pool. As you move on throughout the game, level design will change into various forms, escalating the difficulty greatly.

Lunar Pool is a simple game with a complicated control scheme. On the D-Pad, the ‘up” and “down” button changes the length of your cursor, whether you want to make long or short shots. “Left” and “right” change the direction of where you want the white ball to roll. The controls won’t diminish your skills, but it’s very time consuming before making a single shot, so its thankful that Lunar Pool doesn’t have a time limit. Actually getting a colored-ball into the pockets is difficult nevertheless, so keep a keen eye on all the targets (there are no stripes and colored, so the game feels like some kind of tutorial).

Lunar Pool becomes tedious after a couple stages, and it certainly doesn’t have anything unique compared to the million of other pool games, some of which you can play free online. Save your money and buy other worthy titles.
