Xider Games has announced that it’ll create a brand new sequel to Ankh, which first debuted on the PC back in 2005. Officially named Ankh: Curse of the Scarab King, you’ll once again take the role of Assil who must travel the sands of Egypt to solve mysterious puzzles.

The original Ankh featured point-and-click gameplay mechanic, voice acting, classic humor and fully 3D environments. The sequel should be buried in stores in Q4 2007.
