This week Metriod, Street Fighter II: Turbo and Silent Debuggers grace the Wii Shopping Channel for you to download and enjoy on your Virtual Console.

I missed out on Metriod the first time around, but I think I’ll be giving it a blast this weekend to see where Samus came from, although the super surprise ending is kind of common knowledge now. Also, one of the best multiplayer beat-em-up’s is now available, which is a great way to settle any arguments or while away the drunken hours with your mates.

Unfortunately, I never owned a TurboGrafx so Silent Debuggers is as new to me as it is to the Virtual Console.

Oh, and before I forget, here’s a little tip for Street Fighter II: Turbo which unlocks ‘Mega Turbo’ mode (which makes the game 10 times faster then the original!):

First, connect a Wii Remote with a Classic Controller in the player 2 position, and use it to enter the following code when the Street Fighter II logo appears (before the scrolling “Turbo” text): Down, R, Up, L, Y, B.
