At a Tokyo press meeting, Bandai Namco has revealed four new “Tales” titles, two of which are coming to the Wii and DS systems.
Last year, Bandai Namco released Tales of Tempest, the first of it’s kind to become a portable sequel. Now the company is developing a direct sequel to Tempest called Tales of Innocence, which will release this year in Japan. As for the Wii, it’ll have a direct sequel to Tales of Symphonia (which was released on the GCN back in 2003). Tales of Symphonia: Ratatoskr no Kishi will share the same setting as the first game, but in a different time period. Expect a Japanese release date in Q2 2008.
We’ll learn more about these killer sequels in the near future.
