At E3 2007, Ubisoft has shown us myriad new titles and IPs slated to be released on the Nintendo Wii and DS.
One game being Nitro Bike, is being developed by Left Field Production, the masterminds behind Excite Bike 64. The arcade racer will have players transversing through various terrains in high-octane motorcycles. The game will also include multiplayer, local and online.
“Ubisoft is thrilled to be introducing the first Motocross game available for Wii,” said Jay Cohen, vice president of publishing at Ubisoft. “Nitrobike’s fun and fast-paced gameplay is sure to be a hit for Wii owners for the holiday season.”
The next lineup of games are all included into one entire series. Imagine is a brand new collection of video games, targeted at girls between the ages of 6 and 14. The games fit their demographic, easily relating to lively activities quite “imaginable” at their age.
“Ubisoft is excited to finally offer young girls a line of games that give them the chance to explore their hobbies and interests in interactive and creative experiences,” said Helene Juguet, senior director of marketing at Ubisoft. “Our consumer research revealed that the young girls’ market has been relatively overlooked. We are happy to introduce a variety of titles relevant to what girls in this age group have indicated they are most interested in.”
Titles in the “Imagine” series include Imagine: Fashion Designer, Imagine: Animal Doctor, Imagine: Babyz, Imagine: Master Chef and Imagine: Figure Skating. Though the games seem self-explanatory by the titles, here is the press release to find out more information about them.
