This is the closest you’ll feel to be the next James Bond because Japanese retailer, Rakuten, has announced an infrared wrist strap for the Wiimote.

From what we’ve heard, the purpose of infrared relates to the player’s health conditions, providing benifits from the electromagnetic radiation. Mercury detoxification found in the infrared rays will remove harmful toxins found in the human body.

Infrared has other purposes as well such as heating and thermography, but this is more benificial than we can imagine. This is probably mitigate callous in the wrists, because of activity with the Wiimote. It’ll be avaliable in Japan on July 20th for ¥ 740 ($6.30 USD).
