Atari’s upcoming horror, Alone in the Dark: Near Death Investigation, has now been set to lurk on the Wii and DS systems. Being developed by Eden Games, NDI will be the fifth adaption in the horror sequels, said to follow up from 2001’s Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare.

Details have yet to be disclosed on the Nintendo systems, but Near Death Investigation ought to take advantage of the intuitive Wiimote and DS touchscreen. Eden Games have mentioned the game will take place in New York’s Central Park (which has been recreated from the real place) and the entire storyline will be structured like 24 and Alias.

Expect to dig for the truth in 2008.
