Have you grown bitter of Naruto: Clash of the Ninja or One Piece: Grand Battle? Don’t fret yet because Sega has announced two games being developed, one being Bleach: Shattered Blade will be released onto American and European Wii systems.
The story of Bleach follows a young lad named Ichigo Kurosaki who’s job is to defend the people of earth (overstatement) from deadly hollows, sending them back to the Soul Society. In the game however, players will control one of 32 fighters from the roster, and battle it out in mortal combat. The game utilizes the Wiimote and nunchuck motion sensing for fighting, casting spells and executing special attacks.
As for the Nintendo DS, Bleach: The Blade of Fate will pay the bill with straight-forward 2D action. The gameplay is built on a spirit card system which enables players to cast spells or powerup, depending on what cards you have acquired. For more added fun, four player multiplayer is included, Wi-Fi as well.
Expect these games in Q4 2007.
