Mercury Games has announced Paint by DS, a game that’ll be  flourished by artistic abilities of any calibur.

The game will allow players to remaster famous works of art from people such as Cezenne and Picasso. The layout of the screen will be littered with different color pallets to make a perfect picture/portrait on the canvas. Paint by DS will feature 15 missions (painting could become hectic!) plus a variety of mini-games to tackle.

Europe will be able to express their artistic abilities first, as it’ll be released on August 24th for the price of £19.99. There will be two limited edition versions avaliable: one with a paint set and one with a paint book. Other release dates are slated for Q4 2007.
