Big Huge Games Supports the Wii

According to a job listing on Gamasutra, Big Huge Games is ready to support the Wii console with future projects. The company is eagerly seeking a programmer to work on all the major platforms with new IPs, including several RTS’ which details have yet to surface. Below is the job description of the programmer:

Big Huge Games is expanding! We have a metric ton of cool, industry-redefining work to do and, therefore, many exciting positions available. Whether you’re an industry n00b looking for your first fantastic job experience or a seasoned veteran in need of a jumpstart at a fun, driven company, join us as we:
• Develop cutting-edge new IP across multiple next-gen platforms and genres, including our upcoming RPG helmed by the infamous Ken Rolston.
• Push the development of RTS games through our Rise of Nations® franchise and beyond.
• Continue developing downloadable games like Catan, our recently-released version of the Settlers of Catan board game for XBLA.

We’re looking for gifted, well-rounded programmers at all levels, including full-time, paid internships. At the entry level, there are few outright requirements:
• An unbounded excitement and focus for making games.
• A practical understanding of object-oriented programming.

Big Huge Games was founded back in 2000, which means they are a fairly new industry. They are famous for their ingenious Rise of Nations franchise, and is currently working on an expansion pack for Age of Empires III.
