We all knew the Internet Channel on Wii would not be free for very long. From the very beginning it was said to be available for free to Wii owners until around June/July.

Here is a heads up from us here at WiiDS that from the 30th of June, all downloads of the Wii’s Internet Channel will cost 500 points so if you’ve still not got around to grabbing it yet, it’s highly recommended you do so in the next few days.

Personally, I’m glad we have the option to have a channel on the Wii for browsing. It isn’t exactly the most well supported browser out there but for something to do when bored you can’t beat it!
