I was browsing on some Nintendo forums, and a user showed a link to what I quote to “be a miracle.” The boy below is suffering from cerebal palsy, a neurological disorder that causes physical disability in the production of human growth. I thought the picture(s) below were so phenominal, I had to share it once again to the public.
His older brother, Matt Clark, reports that he doesn’t have the ability to walk or talk…but is able to play rounds of Wii Sports with his sister and the rest of his family. This wouldn’t have worked at all with an Xbox 360 or a PS3, or any other technological device for that matter.
These pictures were taken last year on November 10, 2006, the day after the U.S release of the Nintendo Wii. You can probably concure that the family must’ve camped out in order for the boy to be playing the very next day.
I’m already aware that this isn’t anything new, but I was touched deeply by the benifits Nintendo has brought us with the new console. If you have a relative or friend sharing the same/similar condition, you would understand what this family is dealing with.
