Majesco Sales Rise

Video games publisher Majesco reported to have a sales boost of $11 to $14.6 million at the end of the second quarter of 2007. Their Wii games, Cooking Mama and Bust a Move Bash contributed greatly to the numbers.

Interim CEO Jesse Sutton said in a conference call, “During the quarter, we launched our first two games for the Nintendo Wii as well as three DS titles, which drove net revenue growth of 30 percent compared to last year.”

Jesse Sutton also mentioned the success the company has reached by delivering more to the mass market than ever before. This will soon to continue with several DS releases in the future such as Guilty Gear, Mech Assault: Phantom War and much more.

Majesco is a game publisher founded back in 1986, which provided us famous works such as Advent Rising (Xbox) and the underrated Pychonauts (Xbox). And just recently, the company has grew to have a portable fettish, being a huge supporter for the Nintendo DS.
