Vicarious Visions Makes a Move

Developer Vicarious Visions has closed its California studio on June 6, in the hopes of adding more concentration on their New York development teams. Just like Nintendo, some employees will relocated, though many ended up laid off. There was a total of 25 people working in the California studio.

Vicarious Visions was founded by the Bala brothers back in 1990, and is responsible for works such as Tony Hawk’s American Sk8teland and the DS versions of the Spiderman series. The studio closing began immediately after the release of Spiderman 3 (the game).
