Review
The TurboGrafx-16 was an 8-bit system, with 16-bit graphics chip capable of displaying 482 colors at once and was used to great effect with amazing results found in a select number of games however World Sports Competition isn’t one of them.
With little variation though out, the game comes across as dull and boring . The the range of mini games being limited with very little intuitive control. Playablility is ghastly and the running/swimming/rowing show little imagination or deviation from each other. The graphics are OK at best, with a bit of sound thrown in for good measure.
Longevity is the key to all the great console games however unsuprisingly its lacking in this game. In all honestly even the avid mini game sports fanatic would do well to pass this one by!
