Need For Speed: ProStreet Drives Onto the Wii and DS

As of today, Electronic Arts has announced a new entry into their famous racing franchise. Need for Speed: ProStreet will be racing onto the PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, PSP, Wii and DS systems. So what makes ProStreet different from it’s predecessors, one of which came out just last year?

EA Blackbox, who is in charge of development, has answers for that. Once again, ProStreet will put players behind the wheel of a street racing machine. The *Autosculpt* tuning options will make another appearence in this game, which will affect the appearence and performance of the vehicle. As for brand new details, ProStreet will allow cars to take *real time damage*, which means your vehicle will undergo dents, broken windows, shreds of metal and much more during intense races. EA has also promised to include “aggresive/skilled AI system” and a “revolutionary” online component.

Need for Speed: ProStreet should be drifting into stores in time for the holiday season. Expect more details in the near future.
