Nintendo have announced that they will be holding a short film competition as part of the New York film festival and the winners can walk away with $10,000.

Nintendo have set the rules as follows:

• The film must be based on Nintendo or Nintendo characters
• The film must be less that 5 minutes long
• Entrants must be over 18yrs old
• Submission deadline is June 6th

Winners will have their film showcased at the New York Film Festival and will also receive $10,000, a trip to New York to see the film and a dinner with the co-founder of the Tribeca Film Festival.

It’s a shame this video is 5:22 long else it would be a sure-fire winner.
